In this article, I’ll explain How To Write SEO Friendly Content Beginner To Advanced level in (step by step) process.
You are going to learn how to write SEO friendly content for your blog (or) website.
Hence These are the proven methods.
Do you love to write SEO Friendly content.?
Well, this is an art in which you can take your blog (or) writing career to the next level.
Anyone can write an article, but it takes a lot more practice to write SEO Friendly content.
In this article, I will share a few tips for writing SEO Friendly Content that rank higher in search engines or SERP pages.
Which I have used in my articles.
How to start writing SEO Friendly Content:
1. Start the research:
If you want to write good content for yourself (or) for your clients without doing any research.?
blindly writing a Seo friendly content without doing any competitor analysis?
You cant Come up on Google’s first page just like that.
At this point you need to research a few things:
- Targeted keyword. (Should be Top Search volume)
- Article Length. (1500-2000 Words)
- Article type. (Niche)
- Analyze existing articles. (Competitor analysis)
- People also ask questions. (High volume Keywords)
Type of content & Keyword Search.
Also, add your targeted keyword on a Google search bar to see which articles are currently ranked on the first page of ‘SERP’. This is part of a research idea to help you find out which Google article is best for search queries. (Queries also called as a search result)
You may see some patterns in the search results. For example, some queries only display on the SERP page, as shown in the following figure:
Check people also ask:
Search for the target keyword on a Google search and you’ll see a section called “People also ask”.
Choose Few questions that relate to your article and answer them in your article. But don’t stop here, because if you click on one of the questions, Google will add more questions afterward.
This is one smart way to ensure that Seo optimized content answers these types of questions that people are searching for.
Now it is time to write SEO Friendly Content.
I am now using my WordPress as my content management system and even if you use something else, the following SEO writing tips still you may apply.
2.Title and meta title
First of all, you need to understand the difference between a post title and a meta title.
- Article title: How your reader sees the title of the article on your website.
- Meta title: How search engines display your article in search results.
If you have not specified a meta title in your SEO settings, the title will be considered a meta title.
Your keywords must be included in the meta title.
Tip: Keep your SEO friendly content title not more than 59characters.
3.Post meta description.
Every WordPress SEO plugin allows you to add meta descriptions to your article. These descriptions play an important role in search engine rankings.
- In the First 150 characters, you need to add one keyword and frame a sentence that is attractive enough for users to click on.
If you haven’t added a meta description in the past, you should start immediately. Remember to include a targeted keyword in the meta description.
By optimizing the meta descriptions of your articles, you ensure that every article you write can drive maximum traffic to your website.
Google treats each blog entry as a separate web page, so you can rank each article with specific keywords.
Meta descriptions are a great place to place your keywords.
4.Image Alt-attribute: (Alt Text)
- Google cannot read images.
- Google recognizes images with text.
Make sure that search engines understand your image, what an image is, you must be sure that you use the image with proper names that relate to the image.
Many people make the mistake of uploading images with names like image005.jpg.
- That is a big mistake!
When naming an image, keep the name that matches the image itself.
For example, if you take a screenshot of a Google AdSense dashboard and name it “AdSense”, it will not be targeted. Name it like “AdSense dashboard”.
This way, people who search for an image in Google Image Search get an image in one of our blog posts.
You can add manually alt-text while uploading the image.
I have seen positive results using keywords in the anchor text (and also alt-text in image),
so you should also use keywords in the alt-text image.
5.Connection and anchor text
When you write a new post, it is always helpful to provide a link to old blog posts so that readers stay on your site longer, and search engines can crawl those old posts again.
This will help your website navigate better, reducing the bounce rate – another important SEO factor.
You must use anchor text in the new post.
when you link to a blog post, you’ll see the option to add a link and a title.
Make sure you write the article name with the main keywords of the article to which you are linking.
At Digitalenlight we also use the LinkWhisper plugin for internal links.
6.Headings H1, H2, H3
Using the right header tags is another important aspect of SEO writing.
You cannot ignore one of the most important aspects of SEO:
- Use the appropriate H1, H2, and H3 heading tags.
By default, in any SEO software, the H1 header tag will be by default for the header tag. For the next subtitle you can use the heading H2, then the heading H3, etc.
It is always helpful to use proper header tags for effective SEO writing, especially when writing long posts.
According to the SEO community, it is recommended to use keywords in H1, H2, and H3 tags. When you create your post (in the research phase), you need to decide what your title tags should look like.
- Keyword search.
- Identify the correct word limit.
- Create a post by analyzing the first 5 results.
- List the questions in the “People Also Ask” section for research.
- Post Title of the reader and meta title of the search engine (keywords in the header).
- Post meta description.
- Alt-text image name (use keyword).
- Use the appropriate heading tags (keywords in H1, H2, H3 tags).
